I think , no one. Mum just liked the name. There were no previous Davids in the family.

Firstly thanks for your interest and replies. As I said I was named after my Mums brother. His middle name was Theodore so thank goodness for small mercies!

I always thought Julia was a weird name for a little girl brought up in the back streets of inner city Leeds...I asked my mum why Julia ? She didn't know but said she just liked the name.

Strange thing was when I researched my family tree loads of Julia's dotted about....none of them recalled by my mum...genetic memory maybe?

Anyway I ended up ....Julia.
