Looks like another beautiful day in the neighbourhood for Cumbria. Snowdrops and crocus are under that snow dadysmom honest they are and I have some lovely daffs in jugs in my living room from the local supermarket.

Glad to read VMs reports that there is unlikely to be a weather shortage - that would strike Brits dumb, wouldn't it?

. . It was -9 last night, . . and I've got another dose of the cold, . . it's still below zero but we have clear blue skies, . . I noticed we're in for some snow, they said we could get 6 inches.

I heard on the news earlier that it was -19 in Aberdeen last night ........ brrrrr - that is cold!

Blue skies, sun and a bitterly cold wind. 5pm it started snowing and is still snowing now. If it carries on through the night might be stuck in....again!!!!!!

Well, the day started wet and it looks like it's going to finish wet Thank goodness it's not so cold this evening!

Nasty yucky grey overcast, chilly day here too, 2 degrees (36 F), Yesterday's rain didn't amount to much, only .27", so the snow banks, now grey and dingy , are still around.
