RJ, I am a closet Sissy, or a least I think I am, do you think it is best to keep the blinkers on or attempt to freeze time.

Spitfire, dear boy, you’re not a Sissy
No one here would argue so, our Spitty
You’re above this classification
I type this without hesitation
Possessing charm, insight and wit
A bit like me my friend, innit?

Re: Robert's Poems (Part 2)

I enjoyed this bit in another thread RJ.

Dr Seuss also wrote...........

What do you know
about tweetle beetles?
well...

When tweetle beetles fight,
it's called
a tweetle beetle battle.

And when they
battle in a puddle,
it's a tweetle
beetle puddle battle.

AND when tweetle beetles
battle with paddles in a puddle,
they call it a tweetle
beetle puddle paddle battle.

I also read "When bees jive in a hive it's called a bee hive jive, and when the hive has a bad name it's called a bee hive jive in a dive hive, and when the hive is pentagon shaped they call it a bee hive jive in a five dive hive"
Don't know who wrote it though, musta been some sly bee hive guy on a high outside a bee hive.

Re: Robert's Poems (Part 2)

Went in to the shop for a seebackroscope
owner mumbled "you haven't a hope"
I pleaded "but I've seen it in here once before
Had to admit it was in 1954

It didn't seem like 50 years ago
Now times pass So fast ,dont'cha know
"How about a sketchograph"
Dear me, the shopkeeper laughed

THE END

Re: Robert's Poems (Part 2)

I saw one in advertised in an old comic, right beside a well known tonic.
A courting couple sat on a park bench, a man and a young wench.
A shady man sat afore with scope in hand, that's why I think they're banned.

Re: Robert's Poems (Part 2)

Love it !

Oh dear, what an uncouth man I am,
I spilt something on my keyboard.........Jam.
How it got there I don’t know
It must have been me, I’ll have to go
Clean itup because it’s spreading
Across the keyboard it’s heading
Next to my printing machine
Something else to clean
Oh heck, now it’s on my shirt
I am a berk.

Don't worry about the unholy mess, it will only cause you distress.
Keep a cool head and wipe it up, put it in a cup
you can eat it later and fool the investigator.
