Planet of the Humans

Respected documentary film-maker and well-known activist Michael Moore has just released a video blowing apart the Green myth. He claims that all the so-called green energy solutions such as solar panels and windmills actually contribute to the Earth's pollution problems and that most of them are financed by big corporations who are making vast sums producing them. Naturally, the left-wing, Extinction Rebellion, Woke Snowflakes are up in arms about it and have been trying to get it banned.

Luckily for us, he has released it for free on YouTube. It's quite a long documentary so you may want to watch it later or download it to watch later on.

Judge for yourself....

Respected documentary film-maker and well-known activist Michael Moore?

Not in a million years!!

He's a notorious conspiracy-meister who cherry picks and distorts whatever could be distorted to "support" his profit making garbage.

He's on a par with David Ike and that POS Leuchter (he who claims conclusive proof that there no Nazi gas chambers)

Not everyone who has an alternative view to your own is not necessarily a conspiracy theorist and cherry picker Todger. Isn't this exactly how the media [especially the BBC] works ?

And to mention David Ike and Leucher is an underhanded way of ending all interest it what could possibly be an interesting and factual documentary.

The truth about the green revolution and man made climate change may be right or may be wrong, but only a fool would close his mind and not consider all possibilities, especially when everything most of us know about climate, CO2 and Carbon come to us through the media and the internet. And neither are reliable sources of information in my opinion, simply because there are far too many contradictions.

Re: Planet of the Humans

That video is pathetic in my opinion. Environmental groups have been putting pressure on governments around the world to cut down on what is commonly referred to as 'greenhouse gases'. Fossil fuels is the biggest contributor and so naturally environmental groups have been targeting them. Now that governments around the world have implemented there own versions of carbon emission reduction programs and looking towards greener renewable energy, up pops Moore with his video that basically moans and complains about how much fossil fuels and carbon emission businesses it takes to go into making the equipment that provides the world with renewable energy.

I couldn't watch it through to the end because what they was saying was just utterly pathetic in my opinion. Moaning that billionaires are getting more wealthy because their businesses are the ones making the equipment to provide renewable energy and the fact that it will still take fossil fuel back up power plants to work along side windfarms and solar power farms.

Moore and his environmental groups were not happy about fossil fuels and carbon emissions, now they are complaining about the manufacturing processes involved in making renewable energy machines and that people are getting rich over it. Well somebody has got to make these machines if the environmentalists want the world to use greener energy.

There comes a point where the overwhelming evidence supporting the cause of runaway climate change being due to the result of human activity reaches a point where the probability of human activity being the cause asymptotes so close to convergence that the opportunity for it not to be the cause, though remaining, can be ignored.

ETA Global climate is not just about fossil fuel though. Goodness knows it's bad enough but it's also about the devastating damage to the whole biosphere. It's the poisoning of our environment with exotic materials such as Freon, plastics, toxic releases into the seas, and selective overfishing.

Moore is a charleton. He IS in the same category as David Ike. And like Ike makes a great deal of money with his garbage.

I'll watch the vid later when I've got a bit more time Todger and perhaps we'll discuss it then. However, one thing I do know, and that is; You can't have something for nothing, and whatever form of energy you decide to use will take something away from the Earth and create pollution, you're just changing the parameters.

I totally agree with you about Freon, plastics and exotic materials. But everytime we change the way we do things, like changing from Diesel/Petrol think of all the petrol and diesel engines that will be discarded prematurely, and the gas heating systems [with all the wasted copper pipe] that will become redundant in favour of electric versions in order to become more green. Very wasteful and will offset any benefit by using so called 'Sustainable' cleaner energy. Nothing is sustainable if it has to be constructed.

How many working CRT tube TV's were discarded once flat screen LED TV's became popular? Many places in the world are being destroyed due to mining of newly discovered elements required to make touch screen phones, computers, and speciality electronics like AI. Each time progress provides us with another labour saving device the Earth is once again required to provide the materials.
Todays gadget is tomorrows necessity.

Just remember this folks:

Every time you fart, you do 23 or 24 times more damage to the climate than the equivalent amount of CO2.
