Re: Vote for Brexit? Then please Consider Boycotting Paypal

The EU are not interested in negotiating, just laying down demands and saying that we must comply with those demands. Even now they're threatening us of dire consequences if don't pay the £39B `divorce` bill. Not only that, they are threatening the UK with legal action for allowing only French citizens exemptions to travel to Britain and not other EU members.

If the EU can't act sensibly instead of employing bully boy tactics, we should forget any more negotiations and walk away.

Every time they do this they just convince the uk we made the right decision.

Millions of people in the EU are watching this, cringing with their hands over their eyes as Barnier continues the same failed negotiations position he has used over the past 4 years. Did he not see the results of the election in December or the pages and pages of negotiating papers we sent them months ago ?

What an idiot

Hardly, if the UK gov had backed down and allowed all EU citizens to come into the country, that would have been capitulation. As it stands now, no-one is allowed in except for lorry drivers and goods vehicles.

Quote from link:

The statement – issued shortly after Mr Johnson announced the UK’s plan to begin requiring overseas visitors to self-isolate for two weeks after arrival – said that “no quarantine measures would apply to travellers coming from France at this stage”.

But No 10 today said that this did not mean travel to and from France would be excluded from any quarantine arrangements, only that London and Paris are in discussions on a joint decision.

Like I said, tail between legs.
