Slavery was a terrible thing but no one alive today was responsible for it.
There is still slavery today in Africa and the Middle East and people are treated like slaves in other Far East countries .
But not in the UK .
Here it’s easy to take advantage of our tolerance but this is doing the opposite .
People are fed up with all this .
We can’t change history .

Those protests seem to be related to issues which involve "current" problems. None of them appear to want to look for recompense for the sins of a small number of the great great great great grandfathers.

Of course they don't! The whole thing was brought to the top of the tree because of the unfortunate death of a criminal that played right into the hands of an American sub-"culture" that had been playing the BLM card for some time and with more than a little justification in America.

That gave the filth in this country (and worldwide) a bandwagon to jump on and an undeniable fact that was never in doubt and set off the ANTIFA etc shower.

Even ANTIFA is a front for something foul in its own right.

Yes, I realised that news item related to problems "current" at the time in 2019. What I was getting at was that if it was possible to organise those demonstrations world-wide, then it wouldn't be impossible to do the same with spreading today's demonstrations world-wide too.

My point was that it's far easier and more likely to get people involved in demos if the issues involved are based on "current" problems rather than historic ones. The one under discussion was well reported, but I doubt will really amount to much in the long term, 'cos not many people will be that arsed.
