I thought Lilith was the first wife of Adam. Apparently she was rebellious and deserted Adam, who then took the more compliant Eve for his wife. I think Lilith represents the sexual power women have over men. Lilith is depicted as a demon who is responsible for the evil in the world. It all seems to be something to do with sex and the sensuality of women. I think Lilith must have had far more fun than Eve
