Re: Painkillers

Again ta Twink, but im finding it frustrating, i was at my patch tother day with a few of my friends, and a tiny jewel of a bird (Firecrest) was found in the willows, i could not offroad the rollator through the bushes so felt awful as my friends did not wish to leave me alone.

Luckily ive seen and photographed them before, but its taken a big chunk out of what i was capable of achieving.

Beautiful photo though and the picture was much clearer than I see through my window....... must get the window cleaners round again.

Nom you need a good discussion with your GP re referral to a specialist and pain relief. Hope you not doubling up on paracetamol and codeine!!

Amitriptyline is an old type antidepressant but is used for pain relief-quite commonly. Pregabalin is very similar to Gabapentin. Maybe anti inflammatories if GP considers them suitable or as mentioned before fentanyl patches?? Have the discussion. Good luck.
P.s what about injections are they an option?
