If its drinking water you might be on the water mains as its purified water.

Your other cold water would be off your well.

That's a good shout.

All the wells I've done(5)have been in Derbyshire and Spain and drawn from underground sources(pure water) therefore no mains supply.

Like I said, the pump must be working otherwise you'd have absolutely no water at all, presuming you don't have a storeage tank.

Then I would think that your incoming pipe tees off and one side is blocked.

Check the ball-cock on the cistern. Sometimes they get stuck in the up position thus preventing water getting in. A quick squirt of WD40 and a few manual activations of the ball lever will sort that out.

Nobody but nobody has a Hot water cylinder in the 21st century.

I was taking them out(not a date) in the 70s and installing a Combi.
