And lines about half as long as well - please?

Sorry if my comment upset anyone but it’s not a question of rules, it’s just that it makes things easier if you can make the end words rhyme.
A limerick is essentially composed of five lines of approximately 8 syllables for the first two and last lines
And approximately 5 for the middle two.

These rhymes strictly speaking are doggerel rather than limericks. Perhaps a new thread with a different title or get admin to change the name of this one?
