Heavy rain during the night - never stopped at all yesterday and still raining at the moment!! It's supposed to clear up though later in the day. 17 degrees!

Lovely morning here, the wind has shifted to the Northwest, so a nice breeze and lower humidity: 29 C (83 F).Will make the mid 30s later, and probably 39 C by Saturday.

It's a rather grey start to the day here but at least it's dry.

Those lovely sunny days of June seem like a distant memory now

Update! The clouds have disappeared to be replaced by blue sky and glorious sunshine ...... and it's hot!!!
