If they (students) aren't happy with their exam results, let them take the exam again.

Mike Graham, speaking on Talk Radio this morning, was saying about some students who thought that they should have been given higher grades because that's what they were expecting. Well I was expecting to win the Euromillions last Friday but it didn't happen.

Obviously the teachers will err on the side of better results, It's like asking an alcoholic to organise the off licence...

Looks like the Algorithm has been given the boot, by the youngsters who rely on tech on a daily basis, starting to feel sorry for the Algo, but not for long.
Also, much has been made of the comparison of results for 2020 against previous years, in previous years students did a whole educational year, in 2020, they did 50% with, the old man and Lady looking after the rest, how the heck, with a loss of 50% legitimate education, can any youth hit the target?

My Brother is Head of an Academy of three Schools in a very diasadventaged area,

He is absolutely fuming.

He has some absolutely brilliant students who have worked their hearts out to get to Oxford, Cambridge and Medical School. all to be denied the places they deserve.

Simply on their Postcode.

This is wrong, we deserve the brightest and the best.

The alogritym favours private schools.

I am not going to single out my family.

I and others are in a battle, watch this space,

So, given that students will presumably have their A level grades upgraded, one cannot but wonder how this will affect Universities. Places will have been allocated based on the grades provided last week and presumably those who hadn't "achieved" the conditional offers now will. So will uni's now have to kick those they've already given places to and who were at the bottom of the ladder off oversubscribed courses?

University entry exams have a great deal going for them. So does returning the so-called university to what they were, including art schools where the window lickers spent time avoiding the work they were capable of doing until they had to earn a living.

Many menbers of this Goverment are quite young and have not had any experience of general living in UK
They live in their Luxury Ivory Towers, and then put in charge of Departements they no very little about.

You should not send Ducks to Eagle School, as they are completely out of their dept.

It 's obvious that Teachers know their Pupils capabilities best.
