Kill The Bill.

Hi

It is a disgusting piece of Legislation, we need the right to peaceful protest.

It is an over reaction to the antics of a few, who should be arrested and fined heavily.

It should not be directed at those who follow the rules on Protest.

You can make your point without putting others at risk.

Absolutely! I attended the Iraq war protest many years ago....its was a good atmosphere and the police were fine up to a point. When the rabble rousers decided to run amok because Tony Blair ran off, the police got heavy handed, which wasn't so pleasant, but overall....a protest is how we get our point across.

Any public protest MUST have strict rules in place. The Bill is a good move in the right direction. Personally I would be more than happy to see ALL public protests banned.

Not sure I'm happy at going that far. But agree that protests should not really adversely affect the vast majority of the population who either don't care or disagree with the stance being protested and who just want to go about their normal lives unimpeded.

Yup, and that's why the bill is a step in the right direction.

In fairness, if it wasn't for the sheer number of activists who seem to invade every single demonstration going there probably wouldn't be the need to legislate.

Agree, to a point. IMHO what really tips the balance is those who attend rallies/protests for the sake of doing so rather than having any particular affiliation or interest in the cause.

British culture and to an even greater extent society is broken big time. Things that were once recognised as being right and proper today are being exploited by toxic
nonsense such as ANTIFA, BAME promoting garbage, and no end of crap and the stupidity from the incredibly naive yet gullible student types who embrace the Woke garbage.

These people MUST be brought to heel.

Oh they have an interest alright! To bring down the Conservative government and so clear the decks in order to rejoin the EU.

They will be. Things will get worse but that is a price they won't like but has to be paid. Blood on the streets? Probably.
