Sorry, but I'm a miserable old git on halloween. I don't want people knocking on my door after dark, wearing masks and frightening my dogs (and me)!

Re: What about a Happy Halloween thread !

Will be a quiet one this year as Grace isn't well but normally we go door to door around the flats I know who will welcome a knock and avoid the people who won't. I don't want to scare anyone who lives alone but we usually have a fun evening.

The Scottish couple in the next block usually have a big party which is great fun for the kids with apple bobbing and pin the bone on the skeleton. Lots of fruit punch for the kids and hot chocolate with marshmallows which is Gracie's favourite.

I will have to make her some to cheer her up for missing out.

Perhaps we can make up for it bonfire night we don't usually do Guy Fawkes as it scares the dogs but perhaps I can persuade Nathan to come with us to the big display in the park and Steven can stay home with the dogs.

Jacqui Lawson does some brilliant cards..I have annual membership and it is really good as you can send as many cards throughout the year to your friends and family as you want to and the calendars at xmas time are so pretty to have on your desktop on your computer too ,its a very lovely way to have an advent calendar that you open each day till xmas ..I think well worth the money for the membership for the year

I agree Aysa. I've been a member there for several years now, and they always come up with something new, don't they.
