Best colour of car?

I said I'd wash Mrs.G's car today as it had become a bit grubby. It took age, but eventually it was restored to it's original colour - White.

Any colour of car will get grubby, but what colour least shows the dirt. Camouflage?

Re: Best colour of car?

My son has a black Audi which he cleans regularly and yet it always looks dirty likewise his wife's.

My car is silver, the previous one was white and cleaned about once a year they never look dirty.

I wouldn't have a black car, they look dirty all the time and I think they are more difficult to see on a dark day too.

My 206 is green the same as my 106 and my metro..Not my choice just what comes along..
I have to say its a colour that means you have a shield of invisibilty, I have people pull out or cut in and they look shocked when I toot..
So I can only assume Im invisible..

Used to have a burgandy escort and never had the same problem with that..
Strange thing about white cars, it seems the further north you live the less popular they are, but go to the south of France and white cars carry a premium price!

I think silver is one of the best colours for not showing the dirt. Ours is metallic blue and is pretty good too. Having said that hubby loves his car and cleans it regularly inside and out so it never really gets that dirty.

My car is light blue I think, that's what it says so on the log. I have not washed it for 2 years, so can't realy see the colour.
