Definitely LD. the ''lesser'' channels seem to manage it so why can't they?

I actually wrote to Auntie and asked that question. The Beeb's reply? We don't see the need for a +1 because you can always watch any programme via the iPlayer.

I had an email from AgeUk last week saying they have over 80,000 signatures now against charging for the over 75's licence, so you might be lucky yet.
