By chance l caught this documentary this morning.

It was about a radio presenter called Reece Parkinson who likes running
After multiple runs are cancelled due to Covid-19, Reece Parkinson, sets his sights on a 55-mile ultra-marathon still due to go ahead. The Montane Cheviot Goat is a brutal non-stop race over the freezing, remote and mountainous landscapes of Northumberland, mostly in the dark.
He gets advice from an ultra marathon runner Chadd Wright, an ex USA Navy Seal.

Reece is all set to compete in the ultra marathon when he gets the devastating news, he has Type 1 Diabetes.

I thought it was very interesting and there is to be a follow up documentary later on.

Sounds like it's worth a watch, Artangel.

It's a lot more work to run safely with Diabetes I, but he could end up being a positive role model.
