Your Favourite Toy As A Kid

Did you have a particular toy, made or bought that you really wish you still had today?
Could you describe it?

One toy I can think of offhand is (was) my Swingy Doll.

I wasn't too too much into dolls but I've seen my Swingy Doll on the internet & Ebay & remember how cute she was.

She came with a little record & danced or walked, depending what setting you had her on.

Various bikes they changed as I aged. Only stopped cycling when I first got MS my balance went rather wobbly so it got a bit dangerous. So bikes my favourite was my pashley I had that from about the age of 14 (still technically a child) until I was about 40 when I sold it ... for a profit ! Those od pashley go for quite a lot of money

My absolute favourite was a paper doll !
She had lots of outfits - I'm sure she inspired my fashion sense, it was amazing how different she looked in some of the outfits ......

My little 3-wheeler bike. It got stolen though when I left it outside my friend's house.

Re: Your Favourite Toy As A Kid

I was never very interested in toys .... for me it was books, books and more books.... and when I ran out of books I'd read anything I could lay my hands on ... newspapers, cornflake packets etc.

My other passion as a child was the family dog ... she was my best friend, my confidante and my playmate ... we did everything together. I was 11 when she died and so upset to lose her my parents bought me a Labrador puppy.

I can live quite happily without people but can't imagine not having a dog in my life!
