Thanks Pesta, I knew there was a better say of saying it but just couldn't think of it!

Re: Work in progress

Once upon a time I finished a job before I took on another...But these days, ALL my jobs seem to be 'Work in Progress' I seem to have a very short attention span now....And Over 50's? It's all your fault!..... But I like you....

We all progress in one way or other, to what or where who knows.
I'm reminded of this.

"The hill, though high, I covet to ascend,
The difficulty will not me offend;
For I perceive the way to life lies here.
Come, pluck up heart, let's neither faint nor fear”

“The Pilgrim's Progress”
From this world to that which is to come.

Author: John Bunyan 1628- 1688.

That’s the way to do it John boy, nothing ventured nothing gained.
You can’t beat carrots for your eyesight and onions for your brains.

Wasn’t it Mrs Bunyon herself who said “I raised my Bunyans on big Spanish onions so you won’t catch them bending tonight” or something like that.
(“THE SPANIARD THAT BLIGHTED MY LIFE”, Al Jolson 1913).
