No thought whatsoever about the emotional damage, fear, lonliness, cold, or sibling separation.
I am sorry, but what a cow.
That’s what many farmers do they dont keep their sheepdogs in the house.

I know, and I have never understood that.
They say they 'work' better if kept outside, but I can't see the logic in that.
Would the farmers work better if they slept in a stable?

I’ve never understood that, either. Do they not want a bond with the dog, is it purely a working relationship without the affection you’d get from one living inside? Nope, just can’t get my head round that. I once knew of two dogs that went between an estranged couple, and the husband lived on a farm. The dogs were kept in a room off the main house that went into pitch blackness when doors were shut. Nope, couldn’t work that one out either.

He was lovely wasn't he.

I find most of the owners really annoying. Particularly the woman who was obsessed with her dog growing up to be aggressive.
