I thought that was a lovely idea and was pleased to make a contribution.

It's amazing what people do reveal these days very worrying IMO there is a young couple just this week who announced their pregnancy after a test only couple of days after her period was due and that has all gone terribly wrong for them when she miscarried. I think we kept things a bit more secret years ago for very good reasons.

Seems more than a tad off-topic I guess, Julie, but hell, I do that all the time !

But back to "breast feeding in public".
Any time, any place, as far as I'm concerned.
Can't imagine anything more natural - and the mother can usually be as discreet as she chooses.

Any person who gets all offended is the one who needs the attitude adjustment.

have a chinese mate of mine now in HK who pays a visit to his 'wet nurse' who breast fed him because his own mother couldn't produce milk - I met her on a visit to the mainland with him and they were very emotional together and he brought her some gold gifts!

quick summary which you can listen too - breast feeding mum out to an event - stops off in a restaurant cum bar and starts drinking - conflicting evidence - she says small amounts and an off duty waitress reports her to police as drinking lots.

police attend and arrest her BUT do not breathalyze her BUT do arrest her for putting her feeding infant in danger!!

everyone is making assumptions and guess work here and not following scientific protocols

Breast feeding in public is quite OK so long as the child is less than 16 years old !

Oh gosh now that is a battle at the moment, I send Grace off with a healthy meal and she comes home wired and bouncing off the walls because someone else's mum has given them sweets coming home, same mum who thinks those red bull drinks are good for kids

ya can talk about anything ya like floppy - just go and be original and start a new thread [not breast fed at birth obviously!!!]
