Poor little Josh

My dog has had to have surgery to remove a grass seed that had got in his paw and was working it's way up his little leg.

It is the second time this has happened.

The vet took his dressing off today (2 days after the surgery) and said he didn't need a dressing. Of course he did what dogs do and tried to lick his paw. He was going mad to get at it, so I went back and bought one of those collar things - this distressed him even more. So I had to pay again to have his foot bandaged again.

Poor Josh - hope he's better today
It's the hairy-footed dogs who seem to suffer; the only time I've experienced this is with Bruce, our Bearded Collie years ago(very hairy!)

Scritches from me as well-been there with a couple of cats over the years but always managed to catch it before infection, one in a paw ,the other in an eye.

Cleo sends purrs but she has no idea what about as ,touch wood, she has never had a grass seed or had to wear a bucket on her head
