Hoppity!!!

One of out tumblers had an incident in the aviary yesterday.. it somehow got its leg trapped in the door and snapped it off We cut the bone back to clean and gave antibiotics and some powder to the stump and its in a pet carrier for a few days. All is well now and its eating and drinking and hopefully it'll be back tumbling soon

I have a very simple view re pigeons. They are welcome to dine at my bird table but should I catch one eating my greens they only get one warning.

Well we shoot normal feral pigeons to eat and to feed the hawks but these are rollers and tumblers so they're a bit special to us and worth respecting and looking after on a different level

Awww, hope the little one makes a good recovery, Cassie. Wild pigeons are one thing, but our pet ones are different.
