In politics, as in other areas of life, it is good practice to judge people and organizations on what they do and not on what they say they do. In essence, we must look at actions and not at words.

The 2019 budget law provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate concretely what the government's priorities and specific plans are in economic matters. After months of 'we will eliminate poverty!', Propaganda, bombastic statements and media campaigns, Italians can finally judge this government on the basis of a concrete and essential decision such as the budget law.

The proposal recently voted on is the second version of a financing law that has been rejected in parliament and rejected by the European Commission technocrats. Despite the warlike statements by ministers and party secretaries against Brussels and the European Union, it is now clear to everyone how the government has bowed to the Union's economic dictates and has accepted major changes to the most important law of the year. Originally a budget with a deficit of 2.4% was planned. This new version, after the intervention of Brussels, brings it to 2.04% - the difference from a decimal, but something that means billions of cuts in the welfare state. Specifically 7.5 billion cuts.

The two flagship measures of this government - the basic income and the introduction of the "Quota 100" pension reform - are not provided for in the text of the law, because ad hoc decisions will be presented on the two measures. D

Member states not being able to spend their own money, France another example.

Anyway, the DUP won't support Mays deal so the ERG Group won't either.

Brace yourself, Solasch, your in for a bumpy ride.

Only if I lived in the UK. Now, the netherlands being your best friend, I will feel for you. But there is still hope. Either the house takes control and revokes article 50, or may requests a long extension by april 12.

That's the crux of the problem.
The EU is just a collection of protections/ tariffs/ subsidies
designed to favour the founding members ie. Germany & France
A/ tariffs to keep EU. industries competitive in world trade &
B/by rules that bind new members to trade through the EU thus
forcing them to purchase German/ French goods
I could go on, but l am getting bored .If it doesn't matter to you
if we stay or go, why do you persist with this retorich of
presenting reasons to stay.Let us leave in peace it won't hurt you,
We can only damage ourselves

You are flexible in your rethoric. One day you say the EU needs you more than you the EU. And your leaving will hurt the EU more than the UK. Today it is that your leaving won't hurt the EU.
Make up your mind. You made up your mind in 2016 for the referendum, or didn't you vote?

Well, not the UK since there is no trade agreement. That has to be negotiated. So ask me the same question in 6,7,8 years time?

I think 6 hours will be enough to send Brussels over the edge.

Well, then ask me 7 hours after you left. So, depending on events, on april 13, may 23 or next year.

One of the favourite statistics doing the rounds in brussels is that, while the UK relies on the EU for 49% of its trade, only around 10% of EU trade is with the UK.

Does this answer your question?
