Re: French busdriver killed by passengers!!

Does anybody actually know where the culprits originate from?
If not I cannot see what difference it makes anyway, unless we are trying to make this thread racist.

Surely anybody who breaks the law in France would be punished under the same rules... no matter what their nationality is!

Maybe it's best not to mention nationality details.
Well all media has its own predudices and messages it is trying
to push? Usually the views of its owners who are usually rich and
want to extend their influence and power?
So no need to ask the question!!
Nationality is important to understand how mixing various opposing
cultures in one country affects the society of that country??
Without data we can have no analysis Buddy?

I understand what you are saying, but surely racism is an individual thing ( or a group trying to teach racism to others) & certainly not something that is acceptable on this forum!
I have met people from many different countries, but I never judge them by their nationality or colour, I judge them by their personality... and they are all different.

There are a number of white British people I dislike, but I like the others!

My opinion is that , if we all stopped talking about race, people would be less racist & learn to judge people as individuals, not by where they come from!

That would be lovely.

I think that the main problem is the stereotypical behaviour/attitudes that certain cultures/subcultures tend to be defined by. Most of these will include practices that all groups will find abhorrent. It's when people from different subgroups criticise the actions of another subgroup, or assume that a member of a subgroup is inexorably likely to follow the behaviour patterns of the stereotype, that "racism" is considered to take place.

I don't - it is the culmination of many years observations!

By the way - the word is French!

Anything familiar?

(sorry for the wrong image orientation, I tried all orientations but it is always displayed sideways)
I THINK that's taken from the roadway to the South of the campus?

Different races have their own predisposition though.

Thank you for correcting my spelling. Of course you are right, it is "French". I don't know how this could happen.

From how I understand your post, if you have years of observing then you don't need to ask whether the French are "that primitive" because you answer will very likely be "yes".

Otherwise your observations would lead to a "no" as an answer. But in that case you wouldn't have asked.

By the way: at school i learned that in written English you do not write "haven't" or "don't" but "have not" and "do not". It seems to be accepted though in forums to write "don't", is it?

Not just forums. Also even most formal letters and communications. Even starting a sentence with a conjunction is now permissable most of the time (and, but, etc) as well as splitting infinitives such as " To boldly go where no one has gone before!" as per Startrek.
