Good morning all, heavy drizzle here after a wet old night, and forecast to last all day apparently, but at least the garden is watered..

Nothing much on my agenda, we'll still be walking the dogs first thing then, other than making a curry for lunch, just take things as they come I guess.

Have a pleasant day everyone

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

Tipping with rain here. The forecast is for rain and drizzle all day, with more
of the same through until the weekend. Maximum temperature 18ºC.

Work outside temporarily suspended. Plenty of other tasks to do indoors,
there’s always those mundane household chores!

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Re: Good morning Wednesday, 8th July!

Good morning everybody.

My friend Chris & I have decided to cancel our regular Weds walk. The weather doesn't look too promising & it's much too cold to sit outside with a picnic as we did last week.
I suggested we go to the shopping centre instead for a browse around but she wasn't very keen so we're leaving it this week.

I've decided I'm going to put some traps down outside today as I've seen a mouse sniffing round my flower pots.

Also going to sort my hall cupboard out & maybe have a walk with shopping trolley to Aldi for a mid week shop.
It's only about half a mile away - it can count as Tony's daily walk.

Tonight we're meeting our son Ady & family for a meal at a pub chain restaurant. First meal out since March - much looking forward to that.

Have a good day all.

Re: Good morning Wednesday, 8th July!

Good morning everyone a wet miserable day but the garden is looking better for it.

I am going to do some baking for the family today, gingerbread men which freeze well . I want to go to my sons but need a fine day because I have to stay outside, maybe we go for a walk through the cider orchards if it is a nice day.
My oldest grandson went to Alton Towers yesterday with school friends so I need to make sure I keep my distance.

Enjoy your day

Good morning all - I'm confused.
How come we are writing in a thread from 1st July?
Is it the Gremlins again?

Dull and wet here, with plenty more forecast, so other than popping out to collect a letter from the Doc, I will be doing indoor jobs today.
