Languages
Any particular language you enjoy listening to or are fluent in?I really love the German language. One of my '2nd mothers' was German and so was my aunt. I did go to night school in my late 20s to learn German (and French for some ungodly reason), but I've forgotten them now.
Another is Italian, plus I love the Italians too

My first language is Welsh PestaEnglish second
And I speak French very well but not completely fluently
I get better when I've been on holiday there!
I also have a smattering of Spanish but I also love the sound of the Italian language
So I want to learn one of them properly but I'm torn between the two

I think I just said I like spanish but I'm not very good. When I go on my holidays I speak spanish, I wanted to say I try to speak spanish but can't remember the word for try!
I'd dearly love to be fluent in spanish but I can't take things in like I used to.

... that's what it's all about isn't it? I reckon anyone who goes to different countries should at least try to learn a smattering of their language. If in doubt they should take a phrase book.
My daughter's good with languages.
