Re: Seeing the International Space Station

Thanks Nicol, there are about five people rely on me for forecasting the times when the ISS can be seen....

And I rely on you..... Thanks again....

Doubtful if I'll be able to see it tonight, we are under attack from several thunderstorms...Rumblings as we speak....

Re: Seeing the International Space Station

Fantastic view of the ISS last night at 10:15, perfect clear skies and it appeared almost overhead. Clear skies again tonight, but 10:58 might be a bridge too far....

Re: Seeing the International Space Station

Thanks Nicol, those at the end of the month seem to be low in the sky and a short duration....When the three wise men saw the star over Bethlehem, do you think it could have been the ISS?

That or an Emirates airbus 380 coming into land

I have not seen the ISS for ages it is not as much fun freezing your nuts off in the Winter waiting for it as it is in the nice warm Summer evenings.....

Remember the Christmas lights switch on on December the 12th....

I'm looking forward to that. I hope they use the traditional bulbs rather than those harsh LED jobs. They just have to check them thoroughly before stapling them to the tin foil.

I love that nice neon glow they give off on the cold crispy winter evenings....
