I don't remember anything like it when I was at school either, Floydy, girls were girls and boys were boys. I don't remember children having all these strange allergies and food intolerance either. There were no separate meals prepared in our house - my brother, sister and I ate what we were given. As for sex - it didn't exist as far as we were concerned - we were far too busy having fun!
Yes, things change and the world moves on - I can accept that. Maybe children should have more freedom of choice than we had when young - I can accept that too. But I am inclined to think things have gone too far and children are being pushed into adult choices/situations before they are old enough to deal with them. Childhood is short enough - let them enjoy it.
I have no problem at all with over 18s being homosexual, bisexual, transgender, or whatever else they want to be. Providing they have considered all the complications that may be involved - and provided it is
their choice - not something they have been coerced into.
