They won't be missed except perhaps for Kate Hoey.

Re: MP's Standing Down

Well that's 40 of them gone, only 610 to go for a complete 'top down' shake-up of our politicians and political system!

Then the same needs to happen in the House of Lords, 800 there to be sorted out.

Of course this is only my opinion, mostly in view of the current political chaos. I feel sure there will be others though who are thinking this way.

Those who replace them have to be an improvement.

Most definitely, the very reason why I believe we need a 'top down' shake-up. We don't want or need any of those who just don't do their job, the job for which we pay them. How many that is I would not like to even try and work out but changes are needed I reckon.

We need people who know what it's like to live real lives in the real world, not as some of them presently live in a completely different world from what I see. One for instance, Jeremy Corbyn, commented he "wasn't a wealthy man" when leaving his house one time surrounded by reporters. He is, I have read worth £3 million!

Wow ! That's a lot of MP's. Probably many are having job interviews in the EU as we speak.

Re: MP's Standing Down

All those MP's that swapped parties should stand down as well. They have no idea what they are standing for apart from getting a fantastic amount of money for being undecided

Another 700 plus there on yet another 'gravy train', more who probably don't live in the real world, that need a 'sort out'!

Not surprising they would be seeking interviews in the EU if the link below is to be believed, just look at what they receive on leaving and what MEPs are paid:

Hi

Amber Rudd is leaving, she is a Remainer but only had a tiny majority.
