Hi

Really?

So the Security Services do not work?

They never get injured?

The Fire Service do not put their lives at risk?

The Police never get injured facing off Rioters or arresting people?

You can deal with it all yourself?

Good Luck on that one.

Sack them all and do it all yourself.

How long would you last?

Nobody to collect Taxes to pay your Pension.

Nobody collects Taxes to pay the NHS Workers.

Anarchy rules.

Once you have said Bollox your job is to do what they say.

They are elected, you are not.

I am content with that.

SPADS work both ways.

If Corbyn had won the last election you would have had some right nutters ruling the roost.

Beware of making the Civil Service Political, that is the way of Dictatorships.

Civil servants are paid to do what they're bloody told. That's the bottom line.

The Public Image of the Fire Service, the police, the NHS, I suggest, is generally good.

Sadly the Words "Civil Service" do not, in my opinion win the same respect, the feeling of satisfaction from the Public.

Image is everything, in the Business World. Most of us buy into that.

Image is nothing, in some Civil Service functions, to the extent that the public don't see them as a valuable asset.

That's just my opinion!

Clearly, as others have now pointed out, my words appear to have been misunderstood.

There are civil servants
and there are civil servants.

Surely, I don't need to explain further.

Imho, not many people in this country would list those occupations (and those in the NHS and Education) with being Civil Servants. For many, a Civil Servant is someone that works in one of the Ministries in London or the local Council and that's it, nothing else.
