Advent Calendars

Did you have an one to open today?

I have received my very first Advent Calendar! I never had one in my childhood days, or since, until yesterday when my daughter gave me one ..... a huge Galaxy one.

It sounds daft to say but I was quite excited about it, never having had one before ...... in fact it should go on everyone's bucket list!

Thinking about it now though, it has been said that older people sometimes go back to their childhood ...... was my daughter trying to tell me something?

Re: Advent Calendars

I don’t usually get an Advent Calendar, unless l’m given someone’s cast off who doesn’t like chocolate!

I did buy an Advent, red wooden train with trucks behind for my grandsons.
My daughter fills each dated drawer in the trucks with three chocolates for each of them.
