My son bought a Karcher , I wanted one to do the windows and he said 'Don't waste your money'

I have always cleaned my windows with a genuine chamois leather and vinegar and water and they always come out sparking. The only problem I have now with this method is arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to wring out the wash leather but I will continue to do the best I can.

I got the window cleaner to come round yesterday, who did my end of tenancy clean. Shall book him every 8 weeks. Not like the flat where I could do my own.

Most gizmos like this are more hassle than they are worth, take up valuable storage and are never used enough to justify their cost. Plus when researching a jet washer Karcher was the brand with the worst reviews.

I have found a squeegee fabulous for window cleaning. Hardly any effort, great result. Plus you don't waste electricity or water.

It's likely better value for money than a machine.
