I don't know if they still have them but I got numerous tools from Green Shield Stamps in the early 70s (I smoked in those days and they put them in cigarette packets). There used to be an exchange place in Finsbury Park near where I live n Seven Sisters Rd

I remember Green Shield well Bruce although I didn't collect them myself, and many cigarette packets had coupons in them such as Embassy, Players No.6 etc., but all ended many years ago now, useful at the time though, and as I smoked two packs a day anyway the coupons soon added up ...

Wasn't that the one with the heated rear window to keep your hands warm when you were pushing it?

Mostly M12s if memory serves. My 1st car in Italy was a FIAT 128 Sports.
You and me both. The whole engine bays are usually packed so much so you can't get to any of the parts. Contrast that with my old Morris and Ford engines which I could strip down and put back together again with the use of a Haynes manual. More than once, I've replaced a Cortina cam-belt and reset the timing with a strobe and a touch of white paint to mark TDC. Those were the days of course that if your cam-belt snapped, you didn't knacker the whole engine.
