Probably not but gives the press something to chase,soon he'll have them running in circles chasing their on tails.,It's in the tone of the reporter's Just watch the anchors,and tone used,everything is a back bite ,nothing is looked at objectively,kinda like here, I' m right and your wrong,no objectivity,there's no why did he do or say that,its automatic no he screwed up,everyone looking to get a swipe at the guy,
It's no diff than Nixon's 2nd term,The truth of the matter is when the press start's acting and telling the News in a responsible manner,then they might regain some dignity,at this point I believe the National Enquirer before the Mainstream press.I used to think Fox or Faux News but lately they are staying and keeping a more Neutral Balance in reporting
I received a questionnaire from The White House and it asked should the GOP do this or that on several Issues,one of them was the Press acting fairly? Hell no they aren't.And Trump should thin out the Press room until they Tighten up and report in a more reasonable Manner.They start getting left out of news briefs and they'll come around,get the message.

It's a great idea though, reporters will only be allowed to attend press briefings if they write good stuff about the Great Leader. The Donald should go one step further, Close the press down and all tv media, then set up his own newspaper, Pravda would be a catchy name. The guy is a loon

Good luck to him I say, the media seems to have more power than the president. Same here too, it's time somebody did something about it.
Freedom of speech is one thing, but it borders on treason at times.

The media would not be scrutinizing Trump if he started telling the truth. Now he is a comedy act with his daily fabrications and outlandish claims with no evidence, not rational content, and damaging executive orders and letters, each one seemingly designed to take the emphasis away from the jibberish of the day before. If he wants to play that game, the media should give him more scrutiny.

It's not up to the media to scrutinize and demand justification of his policies April....That's the job of the opposition.

Not in America, public scrutiny by a free and open press is a vital part of the system, especially when the system of checks and balances has been negated. The opposition holds little clout in a zero/sum political system like America's.

It was the press that took down Nixon, not the political opposition. And the press can be part of the opposition when fighting for facts.
