Changing Car - Kia?

We’re looking to change our car for a small SUV, possibly a Kia.

Does anyone have one of these and would you recommend?

Or whatever make, do you like yours?

Re: Changing Car - Kia?

definately don't touch a Kia with a barge pole. we had 2 a kia Sorento and a kia ceed estate. If i listed all the problems we had , and from new, we would run out of space on here.

Forget the 7 year thing to start with, they don't honour it.

List of things wen wrong with either car

brake disks warped after 800 milis
would not go into 4wd and warning lights for brake problems
alloy wheels rusting
radio that was faulty and replacement refused
sent be 3 times to fix another fault and they never did, sold car

THAT IS JUST FOR STARTERS ON BRAND NEW CARS

Oh and as a bye the bye , if a spare pare is wanted it is shipped by boat from South Korea and can take 3 months to arrive, one part we wanted took that long.

Recalls arn't passed on to the customer either, they just don't want to know

whatever you do DO NOT BUY A kIA

No loan car whilst servicing yours

If anything look at the Nissan "squashy" as we call it the

NEW QASHQAI
THE ULTIMATE URBAN CROSSOVER

PRICES RANGE FROM
£19,300

WE have the Nissan x trail and does at least 50MPG and that is a big car, absolutely love it

First class service and any recall the customer is informed to make appointment to have sorted. We had it once because the reflection off the road affected one of the sensors, fix straight away, brilliant.

It sounds like you had a bad dealer, Kia/Hyundai are generally considered to be good

this was two dealers and from experience ,and once a car is sold then tough luck, they just don't want to know. We actually dealt with 3 dealers on the final so called fix and even they didn't bother.

Don't believe all the hype it is BS big time
Who considers them good? definately not the owners. Even the seats have very little padding to sit on

believe me I have had a hell of a lot of cars from 4x4s to front wheel drive to conventional drive cars for over almost 60 years and Kia are the worst by far. Cheap thin metal body work.

yes we got conned as well which is why I say don't touch from experience

even owned ford escorts ford explorers and ford mondeos which is your manufacture preference

when we were swapping in out land rover freelander I ask every " squashy" owner I could find, even in supermarket car parks, not one had a bad word to say about them. That is the ultimate test to go ask owners what they think about their cars
Hence going to nissan

Re: Changing Car - Kia?

who sponsors that review I wonder?????? my first guess would not be far wrong. Easy to tell because there is no 1 or bit higher * rating or any where near

The only true check is to ask owners as I posted not sponsored surveys

First of all check that link out , it is a USA site not a UK one where sponsorship is rife
they are based in

The Which magazines/website are still my go-to for checking all -round performances of anything

I currently have a Juke Acenta Premium (15 plate). All Jukes are now 1200cc but have turbo powered engines
It's great on fuel consumption and so smooth
and it has all the Bluetooth and sat nav gizmos you need to keep any techno geek happy

My Audi A1 s-line is my fun-drive car
