I have seen a woman like this on the news before. Hers were all long and curly and deformed.

Can't understand the desire to do this, weird people about.

As you say, even though his is only one hand, how can you possibly lead a normal life?
Imagine going to the loo, or washing your hands, or even simple things like getting dressed, cooking, or even just pulling a jumper or coat on!

Apparently they are going on display somewhere in New York. Would you pay to go and look at them? I certainly would not.

I once sat next to someone in a theatre who had fingernails so long that they were curly. She had quite a job keeping them protected while applauding.

I have just seen them. Yuk, l want to be sick!

Why? Why would you want nails that long? What is beneficial about having them that long? They would disable you in many ways.

for me they are absolutely vile to look at, why anyone would want to go see them I have no clue, nowt na queer as folk. How the hell did they wipe their backside?

Not that long ago I saw a woman in the supermarket with approx five inch long nails, she seemed to be having difficulty taking goods off the shelves. I wondered how she managed the small child she had with her, as those nails looked lethal.
