This is me too Mine is not so grey that is shows much but nearly down to my waist and curly/frizzy. I use gallons of serum on it and it's always plaited, even straight after washing.
Maybe when it's long enough to sit on I might get it chopped....if it doesn't fall out before then

I've used a little coconut on it to train it. That helps.
Mine's just long enough to get trapped in my jeans waistband.
I'm considering getting it chopped though ... because what looked good at 20 or 30 or 40 doesn't look so good now. I spend half my life with my hair in bunches.
Sounds like you need moisture, I like to put coconut oil on my frizzy curly mop each week, sleep in it and wash out next morning, makes a huge difference.
Coconut oil Argan oil is alright too.
