I have certainly had worse, the endoscopy wasn't particularly pleasant, I wouldn't want one every day .
I also had a lump removed from my neck and insisted on having a local not an general anaesthetic. A nurse held my hand, I felt pulling in my neck and it was soon over.
Nothing is as bad as an induction/14 hours in labour and a forceps delivery .
Good luck rehab. They are noisy but you.ll be fine. Lay back and think of England.......on second thoughts perhaps not think of your favourite things in life xx
Thinking of England was amongst my favourite things,
It seems that the noise factor is still there, I was thinking that maybe that would have changed by now

Thanks Meg, I will give the induction a miss this time around
I found if you think of a tune to go with the noise it helps!
I don't like enclosed places so I kept my eyes shut, breathed slowly to stop pannicking.
Good luck , hope all is well.

Thanks Tess, I am not a fan of enclosed places either, I will follow your advice.
My consultant has decided I need an MRI scan of my skull and spine. I did have one about 15 years ago so I suspect the technology has changed somewhat. Any advice, tales or tips from anyone who has gone through the scan would be appreciated, thanks cherubs.
I've had 5 of them, they were on my pelvic area and was able to wear ear phones listening to music with a made up cd,don't suppose that's a starter if its on your head son.
