Perhaps the small hint at the bottom of the page referring to their referendum campaign gives the real reason for this disingenuous misleading article.The usual headline grabbing alarmist rubbish. The Indy would be better of looking to their own midden for muckraking and the extreme Left Wing elements in the Labour party who are attempting to have long serving and decent MPs like Frank Field and Kate Hoey deselected.

I told you so quite some time ago - the Labour party would conduct a purge of its bliarite old guard in order to purify its socialist principles and policies.

Here we have a fine example of the attitude of the liberal/left/remainers, whereby anyone who objects to the EU or widespread immigration is automatically labelled 'fascist' or 'far right'.They have simply not learned or ignored the facts around the time of the Referendum, that much of the support for UKIP came from traditional, long term Labour supporters ( such as myself) who would be both shocked and insulted that concern for the future of their country would result in their being labelled fascist

UJ's definition of a Fascist is anyone who is not a Communist.
I like you, am old fashioned Labour, but according to UJ I am a nasty party supporter.
