Wouldn't this be ironic, if ultimately, it brought about the destruction of the scumbag 'nasty party' itself.

Is that why you hate them so much, being one of them?

So NOT all down to Labour then ?

The FACTS.....which everybody refuses to listen to........" Even within existing EU rules the UK has powers to limit immigration which the Government has simply not used."

So it's nothing to do with "The jackboot of the EU" or "The EU wont let us" or "They are picking on us "

It is all to do with British politicians sitting in the Houses of Parliament.........................the same people who will be in charge when we Brexit the EU.

FACTS about immigrant benefits/NHS use........if anyone really wants to know
Hi

I have to disagree about New Labour, it was them who opened the gates.

The Tories did nothing to stop it or reverse the decisions.

Then, when the Tories came into power and the populace thought they may at last start to control the numbers, they did nothing! one word from their masters in Brussels, Cameron was sent scuttling back home with a flea in his ear and immigration was allowed to continue to flourish.

It has always been about the immigration numbers UJ. It couldn't carry on the way it was. The Referendum was the ONLY way the people knew they would have any chance of the numbers ever being controlled. I'm sure that was the very reason so many voted to Leave. When the Liberal Elite and Brussels completely ignored the obvious will of the people to control immigration, the Leave vote was a way of telling them we would not be ignored any longer over something that did not effect those living in London and other large cities, but was having a terrible effect on the poorer areas of this country where the worst effects of mass immigration was being endured every day.
Great post !

My job meant I met lots of ordinary people with ordinary lives who were all concerned about immigration despite all the 'facts'. I even met Indians who voted out because of immigration.

Joe, Joe - there is none so blind as those who will not see. Any real socialist will have been opposed to the EEC (later the EU) from day one. Indeed, opposition to the EEC/EU was Labour Party policy until Blair's Tory Lite brigade took over the party and tried to destroy (mostly successfully) its working class roots. Who should a working class socialist believe - the despicable likes of Mandleson, Blair etc, or Tony Benn? No brainer for me!
As for evidence - just look at the way the EU has treated workers in Greece and Italy.
I find it sad that someone like you from the "old left" is doing what identity politics snowflakes do and calls everyone who disagrees with them racists and neo-fascists.
