Funnily enough I am aware of that, it was something our kids would never have been permitted to watch.
Shows you are a controlling person and have never allowed your Children to have thinking life because of your very biased controll

Which might be good or bad.

Think for your poor children it was BAD

So Tara - Just for interest, which programmes did allow your your children to watch? I'm talking entertainers not cartoons.

Re: RIP Barry Chuckle

considering this is a RIP thread I find her not only moronic but disrespectful - particularly as she claims to have a daughter in the church - talk about children taking after their mothers and fathers - which one is it T or has she broken away from your tyranny?

You have no idea what you are talking about, our children were expected to think for themselves about important topics. Obviously we had a watching brief when they were small about what they watched on TV, and garbage of the sort the so called 'chuckle brothers' produced was not a productive way they should spend their time.

Our children, who are in their 40s, certainly have their own minds, and will tell their elderly parents, in no uncertain terms, if we are getting it wrong.

Re: RIP Barry Chuckle

I always found the Chuckle Brothers very inoffensive, a bit daft, but like other acts, The Krankies, Zippy, Bungle & George, Ken Dodd, The Carry On lot, etc, endearingly British in their humour. It would be a shame if we all became, so cynical in our outlook of these traditional acts.
