Going back to the original reason for this thread...........In 2016 an agreement was reached that allowed the mail from Jordon to go directly to the Palestinians but it was NEVER implemented by the Israeli government. The mail was held up by the Israeli government, not the Jordanian government even though it was held in Jordon.
I did an extensive search as to why Israeli / Palestinian mail goes through Jordon but found nothing as to the reason why.

I'm imagining no Israel in the ME.I'm trying to imagine how or why you think Israel is some kind of calming or restrictive influence and helping to instill a kind of precarious peace.
No, can't do it. My imagination ain't that rich.
Simply because they are as provocative as their neigbours. There is no way Israel can be seen as a victim or as the underdog.
With or without Israel the fighting and bloodshed would continue in the ME.

My limited understanding from the link is for some reason International mail for the Palestine is blocked by Israel so its sent to Jordan.
If so that is disgusting can see no good reason for it.
