Regular cemeteries are some of the most peaceful green places around. Lots of wildlife and nature. So I'm not too sure of the real green difference other than a small bit of wood. I'm sure there are more carbon costs in shipping special cardboard and woodchips when they have probably manufactured all the coffins for the next ten years.Re: Cremation, Burial . . . or Composted

It sounds very similar to burial although, as mentioned, it will happen quicker. Assuming it is done in tightly controlled conditions then it's probably not a bad thing. Normal burials release lot of poisons into surrounding areas (that's why church yards have Yew trees, because they suck up the contaminants).Thread Tools | |
