Speed test

I am not clued up on speed test I did one on my laptop and
came Download 34.04 upload 5.61 Is that good or bad
just asking if somebody could help thanks

That's very good , for comparison I have a download speed of 2.93 and upload of .58 and that's a good day .

Hi

Very Good.

i have had problems with EE, my provider, they got a BT engineer out and my speeds have increased by 25%.

5.9Mbps here even though I am guaranteed 35 Mbps. Of course none of it matters when the internet drops out completely.

I'm paying for 76/18 Mbps

Currently, I'm getting 75/19 Mbps

Doesn't it depend on what you are paying for?

I pay for 100/40Mbs and generally I get 97ish down and 38 up so I am happy with that. When I first paid for this service I was getting 50 - 70 down, I complained and they soon fixed it up (well, within a fortnight anyway).

It is no good doing the test going through a router or switches - they want it the figures from a computer plugged directly into the Network Termination Device at one of the data ports (UNID ports).

My router and switches knock the download figure at my desktop down to about 70Mbs.
