The Reform of the Civil Service.

Hi

I will fess up, I was one one them.

It does need a massive sort out.

People need to be be sacked for not doing their jobs.

We can get a 20% reduction in costs.

My problem is this, it needs to be targeted, and not at the workers who do the jobs which protect us.

Hi

Not in my experience, it is about two to one.

It is not a Civil Service issue, it is a Political Issue.

Politicians demand vast amounts of info, which they never read anyway, it just makes them feel important.

I went from doing an 8 hour shift , which was 7 hours actual working and an hours admin to 4 hours working and 4 hours admin.

An absolute nightmare.

A simple Prosecution went from 6 bits of paper to 43.

Political Correctness gone mad.

If you log on to 'Institute or Government '
you will be amazed at the shear waste of money in the Civil Service due to loss of staff and recruiting others.
The recent cost is between £36 million and £74 Million

Why is there such a huge Staff turnover?

Premature promotion Azure! One of the reasons for top heavy
governments and huge pension deficits!

Small government is good government which should result in redundancy but unfortunately The Elephant remains, the Gold Plated pensions they have. Just as bad in Local government too.

If a Business spent money like water on redundancy they would soon be Bankrupt
Civil Servants get well paid and extremely good pensions on retirement.

How do you reconcile that with your philosophy of grab all you
can while you can Todgy?
The gold plated pensions are no different to these billionares etc
that cram their offshore storage facilities with cash?
The result is the same, the public fiscus is unable to function as it
should!
