Spinning out (netflix)

Highly recommend this figure skating psychological drama set in an Ontario ski resort pretending to be Idaho.

The main protagonist is Kat a bipolar amateur skater with ptsd abd a terror of jumps after a horrific skating accident. Her mother played by January jones (of mad men fame) is the ultimate pushy mom whose own skating ambitions were cut short by motherhood and bipolar. Some amazing skating routines and very nicely directed with a combination of gritty and compelling story lines. Well done again Netflix. Hope there is a season 2.
