Feeling Low

Forgive my moans but Im feeling very low. At the end of July I had melanoma and the lymph glands removed, not long after an infection set in, I am now on my 4th lot of anti biotics ,the area across my chest is red and part swollen, Today I had a scan and a biopsy, and some fluid drained off, but another ' lump ' was found under my arm,It may be due to surgery or something more sinister, but has been sent off for analyses .I am very sore now tonight.Tomorrow I see the surgeon and Thursday I see my Cancer specialist. I am dreading what they might say

Re: Feeling Low

I don't blame you for feeling low ...so would I.
But you've also come an incredibly long way so you're allowed to.
Please accept a hug from me and I'll be routing for you and sending positive healing vibes your way.

Re: Feeling Low

Don't apologise for feeling low Deylon. You're entitled to with what you're going through. Maybe the 4 lots of antibiotics have something to do with how you feel too.

I'm another sending lots of positive vibes your way. Good luck for tomorrow and Thursday.

Re: Feeling Low

It might be a good idea to tell your GP how low you are feeling , you might need a prescription anti depressant for a short while .Anyone would feel low or depressed going through what you have this last few weeks .

Re: Feeling Low

Deylon, I hope you have somebody that you can talk to, because that is something all cancer sufferers need. If you don't, send me a pm, because I have been through it and understand how you must be feeling. I will even be happy to phone you, if you wish, but don't bottle it all up! ( I am also on skype of you need to talk)
I think there are a few ladies on here who have been through it but many, like me, have recovered.
We will all try to help you through this so, if you feel like a hug or a moan, you know where we are.

Re: Feeling Low

Deylon , I think twink55 is right , its good to talk to someone , possibly someone that you do not know, i am thinking about the feeling low. as far as anything else i would not even think of giving any advice.
maybe ask twink to talk, just talking does help when you are feeling low.

Re: Feeling Low

Aw Deylon, it's no wonder you feel so low.((HUG)))

Talk to your doctor - maybe there are local support groups that you could join. Do not bottle it up - you need to talk - you need support.

Sending you warmest wishes for tomorrow & Thursday.x
