Fanny cradock !

Watched a docu on the 60s last night and it featured Cradock, the name so suits her - seen her many times before and as much as I dislike her obnoxious manner, you just have to watch her - in disbelief, how she lasted so long can only be down to the viewers having to watch again and again 'to be sure' they saw what they saw and heard what they heard <Makes me grateful she wasn't my Mother or Nana or aunt !

I was reading that when poor Johnnie was dying (82) her fear of illness and death was so great that she refused to be near him, that's sad.

Used to see her as a bit of a pantomime dame, one who I didn't like was the galloping gourmet Graham Kerr, like him even less now he is cooking healthy. Encouraged us all to eat rich then makes more money trying to reverse the teaching.

No I refused and she gave me that evil glare - so I did this ..........with a Haddock !

Lol, Patsy.... I watched a programme about her a few years back and boy, was she a pain in the a** - don't know how he stuck it for so long with her!!

Yes - when we watched her we always wished he'd slap her with a Haddock, he never did

She lived not far from my cousin - and the landlord of local pub used to dread her going in - said she was a nasty, foul mouthed piece of work.
