Wolf moon now

If you go out and look at the moon now 7.15 you will see the full ‘Wolf Moon.

This year, the Wolf Moon will also see a penumbral lunar eclipse take place. This type of eclipse occurs when the Moon moves through the outer, part of the Earth's shadow.

You can have a quick howl if you feel so inclined

I polished up the broomstick earlier - Willow said it was too cold, but Nemo is coming out for a spin. He wants to navigate though (CatNav???) so goodness knows where we'll end up! Howooooool!

Re: Wolf moon now

I rushed out with my camera and this was the best I could do after a thin layer of cloud had engulfed it....I'll try again later....

Here's one I took earlier in the week when it was just a young'un..

Thanks Muddy, I was running up the lane this morning and the moon was just going down, it would have made a perfect photo, but I'm so slow these days it had gone by the time I got home.....

Love the photos, Foxie! I am a moonchild, so any shot lures me in.

Thank you for sharing.

Re: Wolf moon now

Like your pics, Foxy.

It certainly was a beautiful, huge, bright moon tonight here, but wasn't it supposed to have a small section of it in a partial eclipse tonight? That's what the weather man said last night anyway.

I didn't see any change, did anyone else?
